On 19 and 20 June 2006 at the National Palace of the Culture in Sofia is being held the Second World Conference of the Women Parliamentarians. The theme of the conference is: “Policies for more efficient protection of children and adolescents’ rights to health, education and favourable physical and mental development”. The purpose of the forum is to develop further the traditions of the first such forum, held in Rome in 2004.
