In October 2004 Bulgaria submitted to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe its Governmental Report on implementation of the Beijing Platform for Action (1995), adopted at the IVth UN World Conference on Women and the Outcome of the Twenty-third Special Session of the General Assembly (2000).

No NGO Alternative Report for Bulgaria has been submitted.
