On 7th and 8th July 2005 the second National Violence Against Women Monitor Meeting gathered together national representatives from 30 countries from Central and Eastern Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Mongolia and Kosovo. The monitoring is maintained by regional non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the framework of the international project Stop Violence Against Women. The project is initiated and realized by the Open Society Institute’s Network Women’s Program and the Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights.
