On 8 and 9 July 2005 in Sofia was held the National Conference and International Expert Meeting on Gender Mainstreaming promoting the results of the project of CWSP Gender Mainstreaming in Public Policies and Programs. The project was implemented in partnership with the Women’s Union to the Confederation of Labor “Podkrepa”, the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria (NAMRB), the Bulgarian Association of Regional Development Agencies (BARDA), local NGOs, as well as with the Romanian organization Partnership for Equality Center, Bucharest.

The project is financed by the Canadian International Development Agency through the Governance Support Program for Romania and Bulgaria.
