Within the Women’s Access to Health Campaign (WAHC), this year’s Call focuses on the impact of Violence Against Women as a public health concern and a human rights violation. The links between violence and women’s health are well established, yet few policies and programs are in place to counter violence and care for the women affected by it. Growing poverty, inequality and conflicts increase violence against women.
