In workshops and panel discussions, attendees pursued the following objectives:

·         reflect on the changes at the national, regional, and network levels;

·         identify what does and does not work, and find solutions for further effective development;

·         provide relevant technical assistance to institutional partners and women’s programs;

·         learn about experiences of transition from other partner programs, networks, and organizations;

·         ensure that the original OSI region can make a difference at key 2005 forums, and identify connecting themes and issues among different regions;

·         provide space for critical thinking on the role of the women’s movement in the new geo-political reality;

·         share plans and develop ideas for strategic cooperation among regions and networks.
